Faro Rally Custom Bike Show, July 17th 2010, Faro, Portugal
Taking place July 15th – 18th, 2010 at Faro in Portugal’s Algarve, this year sees the 29th annual ‘Faro Rally’ and the third year the custom bike show there will have been an AMD Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building affiliate event.
Last year saw in excess of 20,000 riders gather for the Rally, and this year will be the 19th time that organiser Moto Clube Faro has staged a custom bike show at their rally.

By far the largest motorcycle event in Portugal, the ‘Faro Rally’ is also one of the largest such events in Europe as a whole, and attracts riders from literally all over the continent for four days of music and riding.
Always a popular custom bike show with customizers from all over Europe, last year saw some 80 bikes in competition, with “The Paisa” by Team Sable of Madrid, Spain, taking the Radical Class, Best in Show, and AMD World Championship Affiliate prize wins.
This means that “The Paisa” will be seen competing at the 7th annual World Championship at Sturgis, Sd., in August this year.

First seen when it scored a respectable 14th place in the 2008 European Championship, and again when it was one of the selected bikes for the ‘Mad Builders’ Show at Barcelona’s MotOH! Expo in May 2008, ‘Paisa’ has been widely acclaimed as a truly “radical” approach to what can be achieved with a 1200cc Sportster engine!
This years custom bike show will be on Saturday July 17th and will again carry a top prize of expenses contribution, this time for competing at the 2011 World Championships.
