FreeStyle – GIO of Blacksmith Motoring Co. rolled into DC with El Patron, a 2003 Suzuki Volusia and took first place in FreeStyle. GIO is our first two class winner in the 2011 – 2012 Ultimate Builder series with a win with El Vaquero, a 1977 blown Honda GL1000 Goldwing. The power cruiser features Nitrous, Stroker Kit, Big Bore Pistons, Custom Cams, 4 Degree Rake, Remote Air Ride and Performance Suspension shocks. GIO’s background is in jewelry and it shows from the jewel encrusted key to the chrome etching on the heads, bars and lights. Blacksmith Motoring Co. hails from Chicago and is making the mid-west tour with the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show.

Mod Harley Class

Mod Harley - Roy Chamberlain of C&C Cycles built a striking flame and skull bike called Black Shadow that took 1st in the Modified Harley Class. The 2002 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUI features a S&S 106ci with ported heads, bigger valves, cam and throttle body. Additional upgrades include a 200mm rear tire with stretched bags and fender.
The Bagger is ultra-smooth with front turn signals under lexan, which are fitted in the fairing and come to life and are only seen once they are actuated. The side mirrors are replaced with a flat panel screen and an automotive rear camera fitted into the eye of a skull. The license plate is tucked under the rear fender and swings out when the big twin rumbles to life.
Performance Custom Class

Performance Custom – James Antonio of Meticulous Concepts Sportbike Customizing takes first place in the Performance Custom class with his 2003 Kawasaki ZX9R. The reaper-styled bike is bored to 998cc and sports 240mm Rear Tire, Lowered chassis with air ride. Special features include 24k gold plated bolts and custom bodywork. Wheels are modified Harley units from Performance Machine.
Retro Mod Class

Retro Mod – Gio of Blacksmith Motoring Company brought El Vaquero to the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show in DC and took first place in Retro Mod. El Vaquero is a 1977 Honda GL1000 Goldwing that sports a super charged stroker motor, 4 Degree Rake, Remote Air Ride and Performance Suspension shocks. Additional features include engraved accessories, custom trucker-flap exhaust and hidden cables.
