Joe Cooper of Cooper Smithing Co. Buckley, WA, USA built the The Jefferson and entered it into the 2010 AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building. He took 2nd in Modified Harley-Davidson Class.
Dubbed “The Jefferson” by my wife, noting the bikes nickel finish and our coined President.
The Jefferson features a hand formed fuel tank and rear fender which have been polished and nickel plated along with the custom exhaust pipes. Other hand formed parts include the handlebars, oil tank, chain guard, springer front end and plug wire guides; all finished in copper.
